You read that title exactly right. So let's get into the (vague) details that were presented to me.

As you know, (or may not know if you're new) XOXO Virgin Hair DOES NOT source Aliexpress/Alibaba hair. At times, I do receive unwarranted spam emails and contacts from various hair vendors in China wanting to get my business, and I'm not in the business of selling unauthentic hair.


In Late 2016 got an e-mail from an Aliexpress supplier claiming that 90 PERCENT of Aliexpress hair suppliers were to be shutting their doors (and Aliexpress stores) next year. Fast forward to 2017, I saw the same notice again, this time from another supplier. So out of curiosity, I contacted two different Aliexpress suppliers to confirm these claims. And it's true. See the screen shots below of the questions I posed and the (vague) answers I got:




This is all the information I could pull so far. I also talked with another Aliexpress hair purchaser, and she claims that a vendor sent out a notice to her, stating that they will be closing March 31st, which is one day before the above dates that was confirmed in my screenshots. 


While no detailed information was given to me, I know why this is happening. The market is HEAVILY saturated with so called "virgin hair". It looks great in review videos, it gets high praises, and then you buy it (trust me I was a victim too a long while ago), and the hair... the hair isn't the hair you anticipated wearing and throwing away within two weeks because it turned into a rats nest. 


This is in my opinion on what's mainly being cracked down on:


  • Companies pushing poor quality hair at "too good to be true" prices. 
  • The opening of stores by companies that were once banned to keep pushing poor quality hair
  • The astronomical amount of disputes, chargebacks, and loss of money that has occurred due to said stores. 


By the time someone looks at their bank statement, they have already spent at least $1000-$2000 on hair before the year is up because of this. Do you know what I can do with an extra $1500?!


THIS IS WHERE XOXO STEPS IN.




I started my brand because I was the same woman who experienced the same issues above. There is no such thing as quality inconsistency or the "bandwagon effect" with XOXO Virgin Hair. There IS such thing as being able to wear my hair for 3 years and it still looks brand new. Quality consistency is a major mark I excel in. I don't play, lol. What I wear, YOU wear. What a Youtuber gets, you get. What a celebrity hairstylist gets, you get. If Beyonce wore my hair, you wear the same exact quality. It's simple. There is no favoritism over here. 


I want you to walk out the house not having to worry about your hair. I have customers who travel the world for their profession and they love that they don't spend extra time and resources caring for my hair. I'm here to make YOU happy.

    I was wondering what was going on, I went to reorder from a vendor that was pretty decent and notice they limited the amount of hair they have, as well as no 3-4 bundles deal.
